I sort of thought the same thing. In 2017, I thought the political rise of Donald Trump might be signal that many political watchers would understand that western democracy is truly broken. These watchers should be more ready to look at alternatives.

So I blew the dust off my "alternative democracy," made some presentation improvements, and put the idea back out there.

It seems things need to get even worse before we are ready to consider replacing a system that matured in the 19th century.
