I spent six years in a Canadian political party circa 1990. I saw a lot of dysfunctional behavior. I left politics when I realized I could not make the world a better place in this forum.

Western democracy has a lot of flaws. This retreat from democracy is not really a surprise to me. But it seems to be going a lot faster than it was a decade ago.
