I think I follow about 300 people. I'm pretty sure I don't get all their articles showing on my feed. So I haven't seem much of your moral parodoxes.

Many years ago, I met a mentally challenged woman at a conference. She didn't really understand the nature of the conference, but we were friendly for the few days. We were both about 30 years old.

She was trying to seduce me, and it seemed promiscuity was her recreation. She found another fellow to oblidge.

My ethics is that she is not of a sound enough judgement to make this decision. But the Canadian law says 16 is the minimum age.

Psychologists believe that 25 is the age where most young people are able to make rational decisions. Looking at my life, I would have to agree. However, I could not see that at the time.

But 25 might to too much for some and not enough for others. So setting any legal limit is fraught with mistakes. Maybe the current age is set because we can enforce it reasonably well.

I think schools need to have the power to discipline teachers when they stray too far from good morals and ethics. The school boards should set the rules. So different rules may apply to different jurisdictions.
