I thought the interview brought out another side of Mr. Trump. Voters can use that information to cast their ballots in the next election. I would wager Mr. Trump lost a little support with his comments, though not enough to lose the election. Democracy seems to be working the way it should.

If the Rolling Stone is to be critical of how other media (including those with a left bias) cover Mr. Trump, than I would say that the Rolling Stone is also a part of the problem.

It is not about how Mr. Trump is covered. It is about why he is even in the position to be a credible candidate for president in the first place. If we really don’t like the Trump presidency, then we need to challenge the system that put him there, not challenge Mr. Trump.

In other words, the signs that we need a new of governance are all around us — and The Rolling Stone is clinging to the old system.
