But acquaintences in my life who have served in this position say this duty left a positive impression of our system.

In my "Options to the TDG," I suggest that we find professional jurors, who will serve on various trials during their tenure, which should last no more than three years. That way we have readily available pool of jurors. Some will be new. Some will have had experience in other trials.
