I too wonder about this.

I have spent many years acquiring the writing skills that I have today. When an AI program can write 70% as well as I--and for free, more or less--why should anyone pay me?

Or worse, why would many of us no longer bother with acquiring writing skills?

Which then leads to future developers of these AI programs not having the skills to set up the coding to generate the content.

Which then means the AI content should diminish in quality as time passes.

But that means there will be no one with the skills to bring back that quality.

Then we will all truly be zombies.
