I tried Twitter many years ago. I just could not grok it. Left after three months. My account is probably still active, but . . .
I'm on Mastodon, which is a Twitter clone. I still don't grok this kind of social media, and my TDG activity has not born much fruit.
But Mastodon is more of a co-operative operation, paid for by donation. Supporting it mostly for that reason.

BTW, I deleted my Facebook account about six months ago. It had become dormant; I could have left it alone. But I thought it best that the less FB knew about me, the better.
BTW2, my frustrations with FB led me to invent a co-operative social media site 10 years ago. I recently wrote a Medium article on this invention:

We truly need co-operative social media outlets.
