I tuned into CNN yesterday, part of my Canadian duty to understand the American world. That’s all they talked about: polls that won’t likely matter.

Obviously some people take this drama seriously — or maybe take it entertainingly. But there is no doubt of the serious amount of American resources put into putting on a show about polls that won’t likely matter.

What if some of those resources could be diverted into creating a new system of governance — one without so much drama because we will be electing competent people into governance?
