I used to advertise my books with Google. But because my books are about a different kind of democracy and Google does not want to appear political, Google has banned me from advertising my books.

Having said that, they might have relaxed their rules. But in 2020, I was banned.

I'm not sure where this is all going to go. The various companies involved with "internet controls" seem damned if they do and damned if they don't. This confusion could lead to nefarious forces deciding the rules on their own self interest.

I would not give up on elected representatives. We just need to find the better people for this job and give them better tools.
