I used to read Mad Magazine in my teenage years. One of many cartoons that has not left my memory banks is Al Jaffee's depiction of your title.
In a retail setting, there are two cages. One big, one small. In each cage is a demon. An elderly lady is pointing the smaller cage, and the male clerk is congratulating her on her purchase.
The caption: Voting is like choosing the lesser of two evils.
That was 45 years ago. Not much has changed.
It's time for a new way.
