I usually agree with a lot of what Umair says. But this article is way off base.

With the Senate in R hands, a successful impeachment is unlikely. So why bother?

The D’s are currently using all sorts of tricks in the House to tie up the White House and limit the damage. Democracy is working as intended.

The great decision is November 2020. If the D’s cannot convince 10% of the 50% who usually do not vote to come and vote the D way, then Mr. Trump has the legitimacy to govern again. If you don’t like it, too bad.

But maybe it’s time to start working for another system of governance.
