I usually have luck with call centers. I just had an online IT specialist set up my printer for me. He did it in 20 minutes---after I tried for four hours. I had to pay $40, but it was worth it!
A friend of mine worked in a call center for 15 years (he passed away at this job). He was someone who could not handle a lot of stress and just dealing with one call at a time was a good way for him to stay employed. He was a little slow with his work, but management seemed to overlook that.
Like every occupation, there are good places and bad places to work.
