I was a DUNE fan before the movie came out. I had thought this would be a difficult movie to make. But because I had read the first novel, I understood what was going on. But for someone who didn't read the novel, I could see that person being lost.

Many years later, I got the DVD, which . I believe, is was the director's cut. I found it an amazing movie.
