I was an oilfield worker for many years, so I have a little bias for this industry. But the writing is on the wall; it's time for it to go. It will be a 50-year transition.

One thing that bothered me about the industry, especially in California, is earthquakes. When subsurface rocks shift, shouldn't a few oil well also shear? This would oil and gas finding new ways to places where they clearly shouldn't be. Maybe you know something about this.
