I was in Canadian party politics from 1986 to 1992. I left when I realized I could not fix all the dysfunction I was seeing. I really wasn't making the world a better place with all my volunteer time--and a little money.

I cannot envision any change coming from within the current version of western democracy. The next version has to come togeher from the outside.
