I was living in Czechoslovakia shortly after the Iron Curtain fell. One aspect of communism was their public washrooms.
The main washrooms were generally clean and supervised. You paid a small fee and they gave you a bit of toilet paper. Not enough. A wise man in this country would always carry a little fold of TP in his back pocket.
The not-so-main public washrooms were not supervised and worthy of avoiding. Not so clean.
