I was thinking that this infrastructure bill was going to make wealthy people a little wealthier. Too bad I didn't put that down somewhere to show my superior political fortune telling skills. But I have been wrong before.

If we truly, truly, truly, truly want this, then we have to investigate new ways of democracy. Wishing and hoping and writing more platitudes will not change this relationship between the political parties and their donors.
