I watched a few videos of the stop-the-steal trials. In one trial, the Republican poll watchers had a very compelling story about how the supposedly neutral poll workers turned R votes into D votes. I believed the story.

The Republican member of the panel asked the poll watcher how many votes were turned the wrong way. The watcher said maybe 30 or 40.

This was not enough to turn the swing state in the R direction. This particular instance was a moot point.

But I suspect, in saner times, some new protocols would be developed. Or the poll worker would be fired or given a lower position in the next election.

But no election is ever 100% perfectly run. We should be happy with 95%.

The USA is indeed getting out of hand. The Republican member of that panel is probably replaced with a stalwart stooge. .

Time for a new way.
