I went to the book and its Wiki article.

It was first released in 1988 and updated in 2002.

With Mr. Chomsky as a main author, it undoubtedly sold well.

And yet--after 35 (or 21 years) later, the forces described in this book have not abated.

Mr. Chomsky and other academics insist that our current democratic structures can be fixed. Yet after 35 years, the results of their work speak for themselves. For all intensive purposes, this book has accomplished nothing.

My last three Medium on my alternative democracy are sitting at less than 10 views. I could call that the "Manufactured Consent." No new ideas allowed! Right?
