I went to your video link. I wouldn't be surprised that the trip was funded mostly by the government for official business, and some side objectives were made for fundraising for the party. Sorry, all parties do this. The fact that politicians get paid a five-figure salary and then go fund raise for the party is a conflict of interest.

In terms of political fundraising, Russia is very corrupt. USA is somewhat corrupt. Canada is less corrupt. The Nordic countries have reasonable control of $$$ not buying elections. So this matter is somewhat relative.
