I won't claim to be an expert on the geopolitics of this part of the world. But your perspective has valid points that deserve fuller discussion.

I have Slovak heritage, and part of being Slovak is the retelling of the 900-year oppression of the Hungarians, which ended in 1918. I think the Slovaks are moving away from that national narrative, which is a good thing.

Had the 1947 partition been accepted, history would be much different today.
