I would agree that "reformation" is better than "revolution." But unfortunately, the current systems are unable to reform in any meaningful way. So that leaves revolution. And unfortunately, the victors are reluctant to adopt any innovative system that addresses the failures of the current system. I see only oligarchy or a similar system as the current system as the replacement.
