And yep. The Ukrainians have too much experience with Russians occupying their lands. The pacifists on Medium seem to disregard their desire.

Even the ethnic Russians in Ukraine are preferring Ukraine moving towards Europe and NATO. Fifteen years, ago they were not of this mindset.
