If I were to ask Americans to choose between: 1) Tiered Democratic Governance, 2) Death, 3) Death by bunga-bunga, my anecdotal observations say they would not take #1.

The positive side of #2 and #3 is that maybe Americans need that social experiment and slide backwards to finally realize that #1 is worthy of consideration.

It's a strange world.

BTW, the Democrats are only actors in a bad play. Don't be too hard on them. None of us would do any better.
