If Mr Trump were an Army general in WW2, he would have been sending ammunition to the Germans.

Unfortunately, 62m people voted for him in 2016. I suspect a similar number in November. But I think his photo-op in front of the church might entice more than a few of the 125m voters to vote against him. All the anti-Trump articles in Medium could not have attained this effect.

But 60m voters still like him. He will be a viable candidate.

If we don't want such a person in public office, we should have an electoral system designed to prevent that.

The next populist wannabe oligarch might not be so incompetent.
