If nothing else, pets give us lots to talk about.

My wife is not a pet person. But I did get a pet hamster for our son. He escaped twice. A week after one escape, we heard noises from the bedroom curtain about 4:00 a.b., which scared the *$&*@ out of us. The hamster had moved from the basement to the second story and was trying to climb higher with the curtain. He was caged. The son forgot to feed him, so he died.
