If the D’s can convince 10% of the 50% who normally do not vote to vote the D way, 2020 election will be a D landslide. In many ways, the future of the USA is in the hands of the Democrats, not Mr. Trump.
What I like about this article is that it delineated the differences between the “fickle” white voter and the “fickle” black voter. For sure, there are differences in how to get these people to the voting stations.
Where this article fails, in my opinion, is a lack of understanding between “hard” and “soft” support. It seems that political junkies who write articles like this somehow believe most voters are highly motivated. Political parties know better, and good campaigns are designed around the less motivated voter. I have written about this on this Medium article.
The impeachment is mostly about the D’s maintaining their soft support, thus not allowing Mr. Trump an easy victory.
