If what you are saying is correct, then there is a big education campaign that needs to happen. THis is the first time I have heard this angle to the constitution--and there is a lot more who think like me.
I was under the impression that the states (and there is a reason why they weren't called 'provinces'), have iron clad rights--similar to Canada. But it seems not. SCOTUS will decide what are the state's rights. With no constitution wording to define a right, anything can happen, right?
It's hard to say where the Republican Party is. Temporily, they are enamored with Mr. Trump because he can deliver a whole whack of votes. I think cracks are starting to form. The party will abandon him if he cannot deliver in November.
I worry about the next populist leader USA produces.
