I’m assuming that you believe the electoral college needs to do — and Mr. Trump is the proof. Removing the electoral college will not remove even one of the 12 limitations of western democracy. To me, the proverbial EC debate is just a smokescreen for what really ails America.

In Canada, we have the FPTP vs. proprotional representation. Same thing: the 12 limitations remain well in place.

This kind of debate is a smokescreen to the keep the aristocracy in a privileged position.
