I’m confused with this essay.
If the rules say the Brexit referundum is non-binding, then it is non-binding! Don’t like the rules? Then change them by due process.
This sort of reminds of the proverbial electoral college debate in the USA. If Ms. Clinton had won the EC, but lost the popular vote, today’s anti-EC’ers would claim that the EC was great democratic tool or keep quiet. They would not recommend reforming the system.
I think this article was written by a “Leave” person, who is trying to manipulate democratic logic to his way of thinking.
