I'm going through a divorce right now--and just replaying my role in heading for that divorce. I'm not sure I want to do this again.

There are couples who do work as a partnership, but even then, they annoy each other to some degree. They acknowledge the sacrifice to keep the marriage going, and yet they would not trade their life to be single.

The yearning is natural. Making it work is not.

For those who have made it work, they are winners (in my mind).
