I'm in agreement with Joe Djemal, who also commented. If things to the point of "warlords and slaves of warlords," it's hard to imagine this social structure could discuss the principles of this article and other philosophical works.

Medium writer Allan Milne Lees takes a similar approach. He predicts a total collapse, but he also predicts that his system of "the wise 14%" running the government will somehow arise from the ashes.

The key word in this article is "respect." It should also refer to the institutions of governance, who will also have individuals moving in and out, whether that be elected politicians, judges, or high-level bureaucrats.

One quarter of Americans do not have this respect anymore. They would prefer a more arbitrary system of government--with their demographic(s) running government.

We need to rebuild respect for the institutions.
