I'm not so optimistic. One-third of Americans believe the 2020 election was rigged. A resounding defeat for Trumpism in 2022 or 2024 will only reinforce that belief. They will fell compelled to take their country back. The USA is heading for a period of significant political violence.

But we got to this position because existing democratic structures are not working. It is time for a new way.
