The Democratic campaign may not have said "a degree is required," but I think the people without a post-secondary education are feeling this way.

I watched a fair bit of the first Trump impeachment trial. The room was full. I suspect most of the people were making $100+ a year-----or were interning to eventually get a job to pay them $100+ a year.

The average blue collar worker gets paid a lot less and does not sit a room listening to other people talk. Most of the high ranking Democrats are college educated and usually don't have the challenge of daily survival. There is a disconnect between the two worlds.
