I'm probably the only one of this article's readers who knows who Drew Barnes is. Well, he's not the only politician to take up this stance.

It was amazing how the truckers' protest got hijacked by the antivax crowd. There was no logic to the first reason for this protest. There's lots of work for unvaccinated truckers if they want to stay in Canada. Even if this rule is repealed, they would still have to show vaccination if they went to the USA.
