I’m sorry that I have to use Umair’s popularity to make my point. My articles are not being seriously considered by the Medium algorithms. I have acquired 300 fans, but I don’t think the algorithms are showing on their feeds.

There are all sorts of people “worried sick” about the state of the world. But very few understand the reasons and fewer have any effective solutions. The dystopic writers are preying on “there’s no hope” mentality.

Am I condescending? Probably. But I would point a finger back at Umair. There are reasons why people are voting rather silly. I don’t think we should just assume that they are somehow sub-human.
