In 2009, I had finally put all the pieces together of my alternative democracy, which I have called "Tiered Democratic Governance (TDG)." At that time, I estimated that the USA would have at least 20 years to build the TDG, while its version of western democracy crumbles. My prediction of 20 years in 2009 just might have been a little too generous!

If an oligarchy is in the USA's near future, I don't think any "opposition to MAGA" is going to change that future. While I hope the USA's democracy bumbles through for another decade, we have to consider that the oligarchy is plausible by 2025. What do we do when the oligarchy takes effect?
