I'm just finishing up a piece that has a sub-arc on how the US Constitution was built by rich, white men. These demographic, even today, is probably subconsciously keeping other people out of this power arrangement. They really would not want my TDG for this system really opens up the field of governance to all.

Marley's article reflects on how "successful" black people have adopted the "rich, white, man" culture to some extent. I'm not sure I agree with this, but maybe more thinking I will come closer to Marley's reasoning.
