In Grade 10, my son was tested at a Grade 5 reading level. He is in a high school program that basically teaches junior high over again. He will not graduate with a diploma.

He refuses to work with the various online programs, where he can do things at his own speed.

Not motivated for school at all. But he is working at WallMart, and the managers have rewarded him with five shifts a week.
