His book has mostly described how humanity has built certain scientific and humanistic models to understand things, used them for a while, then replaced them with better models. He prophesized that today's models would also be discarded.

The strange thing that he believed that western democracy was untouchable. Western democracy would lead us to the hydrogen economy.

He wrote his book in 1982. I wonder what he would say about today.
