In my attempts to make a better world, I became an active volunteer in a Canadian political party. When I realized how much dysfunction there was, I quit (1992). But somehow I invented another kind of democracy. And I have been working on this model since 1997.

I recognized that the concept of the political party would eventually fall in on itself. We really need to get rid of all political parties.

While your metaphor of cosmic collapse sounds appropriate, I prefer the idea of a new system is being built while the old system is falling apart.

Unfortunately "denial and downplaying" are ruling the thinking of those who recognize something is wrong.
