In my opinion, the defund the police at the national level is just another photo op. Municipalities, with help of state governments, need to figure out their own solutions. What works in Minneapolis may not work in Stockton.

I see a whole bunch of new civil servants hired with office buildings dedicated to re-distributing tax dollars to police departments et el.

And I see official in police departments et al going after that money rather than concentrate on their own problems.
