In the book "How Democracies Die," Levitsky and Ziblatt recommend that the Democrats take the high road to fight Trumpism. Unfortunately the Democrat base preferred the "fascist" route, and this influenced the game plan in that direction. Maybe L & Z were right.

Anyways, I made a bad call. I was not expecting that many Americans to not vote.

I would not call a 71 to 65 split a resounding victory. That would be a close election in Canada.
