In the fall of 2018, a fellow from another internet forum recommended that I write a novel about my alternative system of governance. He said, "Tell the story of the future people working in this system."

At first, it sounded crazy because I had not written fiction and had no desire to do so. But as the weeks went by, characters and plot floated in my head. It became a reasonable story to educate people of this new system. And I got some fiction writing help.

The first draft went really fast, almost as if the story was writing itself. But the revisions and and revisions and revisions were almost depressing. But it's done! Here's Chapter 1 on Medium.

As I was doing my revisions, ideas crept in for two more novels. These stories really want to come out; I can't stop thinking about them. BUT between working, a four-year old who loves his dad, and I should start seeing some $$$$ from the first novel, the these two novels remain between my ears.

Yes, I would like to write full time, but life is happening.
