In this Foundation series, SF author Isaac Asimov prophecized that democracy has a shelf life of two to three centuries. Eventually democracy falls in on itself, to be replaced by some version of oligarchy. We just might be seeing this prophecy coming true.

Anyways, good piece. It would be interesting to see how a Trump-supporting writer spin a similar supporter that the FF would approve of what is happening.

But it is time for some new founding fathers and mothers to build a new version of democracy.
