Interesting article that kinds of shakes my current belief system. I shall have to digest a bit — and see if other thinkers are coming to the same conclusion.

In more than a few places, I could offer some counter arguments as to why USA is not Rome. But my time is limited as well as my belief that all empires eventually fall is fairly solid. Unless USA conducts a serious revision in how it is governed, it is doomed to fall.

I was just reading another Medium article on this topic today. This writer believes the USA will fracture into several new countries. Sounds plausible to me.
