Interesting comments. I guess I'm seeing this article a little deeper. Here's the question I want to ask: Why are we so dependent on a "chosen one" to save us?

As you know, I have a alternative democracy. But it cannot be built by "a chosen one" of any kind. Rather it must be built by many people, each doing a little bit. It seems the world does not like this approach.

Our psyche comes from all sorts of places. I just wonder how much comes from best-selling novels and their "chosen ones."
