Ironically, I think the best way to implement a UBI in the USA would be through a Trump oligarchy. This government will be so inept at managing the economy, it will need something to placate the masses inside and outside the Trump base.

With the D's and R's fighting each, a UBI is not in the intermediate future. Put the high-ranking D's in jail, and the dynamics change.

Whether I put my time into the UBI and join with all the other UBI advocates will not move the cause forward.

Despite my failure to promote the TDG, it still depends all on me. Not much sense in taking on other causes.
