It is indeed amazing about the lack of user experience in design.
I tried making a living as a technical writer circa 1994. I read books about placing yourself in the shoes of the user, then try to write for that user. Trouble is that the people I was working for did not like the extra time I was charging. They wanted a manual that looks professional, not be professional.
I am also wondering about the user experience of the average voter. Sometimes it’s not hard to understand why the Trump base is such a major player in American politics.
