It seems strange that we have just as many predictors of doom-and-gloom as there are those who believe the boom is going to last forever.

I would say that history says the economy is always going to cycle and we should expect good and bad times — at least until we get a different form of governance that can actually manage an economy.

But overall, this was a nice piece to read.
